The human body always tends to undergo a process called fasting. This takes place when a human gets into rest (sleeping), where they spend so much time (almost 10 hours) without eating anything or the stomach receiving anything. When a person wakes up in the morning, the stomach gets deprived of food; this is what I am referring to as the Empty Stomach. Below are foods of our interest in this study.
TEA AND COFFEE
We'll begin with Tea. Tea, as well as Coffee, is really acidic for the body, and when we take tea on an empty stomach (early in the morning), it tends to make the entire body highly acidic. Note: An acidic body gives room to diseases and ailments, while an alkaline body helps avoid the body being prone to diseases.
Here are some chemical components of Tea:
- Catechins
- Theaflavins and Thearubigins
- Amino Acids (L-Theanine)
- Vitamins and Minerals
- Fluoride
- Alkaloids (Caffeine)
- Phenolic Acids
- Tar
- Nicotine
- And all those we know
The above things have got a lot of negative effects on our body, and slowly we are killing ourselves through the consumption of this substance (Tea).
Negative Effects:
- Catechins lead to iron deficiency, increase the risk of bleeding, and increase the risk of serotonin syndrome
- Theaflavins and Thearubigins increase blood pressure and reduce absorption of nutrients like iron and calcium
- Amino Acids (L-Theanine) may exacerbate anxiety
- Caffeine - we all know what it does
Therefore, we must avoid tea intake on an empty stomach; in fact, the intake of Tea must be avoided. Tea and Coffee, I personally advise that they should be done away with. Those stuffs are considered dangerous.
"Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God."
1 Corinthians 10:31 KJV
COFFEE β
Coffee, in the same manner, is as bad as Tea. It too is proven to be acidic and has got almost the same effects on the body as Tea. Partaking in it will put the body at risk.
While many people recognize the usage of Tea and Coffee as a way of living their dream lives and luxury lives, you, as an educated person, must note that it is really a suicidal practice.
And did you know that Tea and Coffee have got effects on the skin of the body??? Many people who drink these stuffs tend to make themselves look old; the skin of a young female or male tends to look like that of an elderly person.
Scientific Warning: It is scientifically proven. Stay away from them before you get to be called granny, uncle, auntie, or grandpa at a young age!
If you are really thirsty, just grab a bottle of flavored water and the story gets done.
"Tea and coffee drinkers carry the marks upon their faces. The skin becomes sallow, and assumes a lifeless appearance. The glow of health is not seen upon the countenance."βTestimonies for the Church 2:64, 65, 1868
In conclusion: TEA and Coffee are all to be done away with; they are drugs, not something to feed on.
CORNFLAKES
On this one, I know I might be dead meat to many. I know most of us are students, and cornflakes are like the second STAPLE FOOD to some.
Firstly, in order to partake in cornflakes, you need milk, and most people add sugar to it. We remember that mixing sugar and milk causes fermentation (alcoholism).
You can just find a person dizzy after eating cornflakes, and you ask, "Why?" Ati, "I need to sleep, me I feel sleepy when I eat in the morning." It's not about eating in the morning, but you create your own alcohol.
Again, cornflakes contain a substance called High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS), a high level of sugar that is dangerous for the body. This kind of sugar gets absorbed very fast into the bloodstream, causing high levels of blood sugar in the body. Making this thing the first meal spikes sugar absorption and contributes to cardiovascular diseases.
Health Risks of Cornflakes on Empty Stomach:
- Weight Gain
- Diabetes
- Constipation
- Chronic Diseases
- Obesity
- High Blood Pressure
- TOOTH DECAY
- Hyperactivity
- Stroke
- Bloating
- Swelling
- Hormonal Disruption
- Kidney and Liver Damage
- Reproductive Problems
Please avoid this as well. You can eat them at some other time, but don't make them the first food on an empty stomach. And avoid adding sugar when making them.
COOKED FOODS
Scientifically and theologically, it has been nutritionally proven that it is indeed the right thing to eat heavy meals in the morning, for this is the time the stomach is big enough to accommodate a lot of food.
Mostly, the heavy foods are found to be those that get cooked, and in this sense, people tend to abuse the stomach with them. It becomes a great problem when cooked foods are introduced first, even though they are in the "Heavy Foods category."
In order to make the stomach ready, there are some practices needed to be done for "Heavy Foods" readiness:
How to Prepare Your Stomach:
- Get a glass of warm water and drink it. The water will stretch the vessels and help the stomach expand
- Drink some lemon juice (water without sugar). It'll help in preparing the stomach for the solids and remove impurities
- Get something like fruits, dried fruits, or fruit-vegies like carrots, and nuts like peanuts. These will prepare the gut for digestion
- Lastly, get your delicious, healthy heavy meal and eat to your fullest, but maintain your degree
SUGARY FOODS
Foods like cakes, pastries, donuts, and doughnuts were not meant for breakfast meals or meals for an empty stomach. In fact, these things are not good for health at all.
Sugary foods spike sugar absorption in the blood and raise blood sugar levels, which may lead to inflammation if taken on an empty stomach, also causing cardiovascular diseases.
Dangerous Components in Sugary Foods:
1. Refined Sugars
- High Fructose Corn Syrup: Insulin resistance, Type 2 diabetes, Weight gain, Increased risk of heart disease
- Sucrose and added sugars: Tooth decay, Chronic diseases, Potential links to cancer and cognitive decline
2. Unhealthy Fats
- Partially hydrogenated oils: Increased risk of heart disease, Elevated triglycerides and LDL cholesterol
- Saturated fats: Increased risk of heart diseases, Elevated LDL cholesterol
3. Artificial Additives
- Artificial flavors and colors: Potential links to hyperactivity and ADHD, Allergic reactions
- Preservatives: Potential links to cancer and neurodegenerative diseases
4. Refined Carbohydrates
- White flour: Insulin resistance, Type 2 diabetes, Weight gain, Increased risk of heart disease
- Lack of fiber and nutrients: Constipation, Nutrient deficiencies, Increased risk of chronic diseases
Those are some of the reasons why it's not safe to have such stuffs on an empty stomach.
